Airport. went there once again during my last-off-day. 3 mates were going to Belfast to further their studies; Amir, Jimin and Jiji. Aina also went off and Mop's sister as well. it's goin to be quite a while not seeing these familiar faces. people come people go they say. discovered a no-no parking spot at the airport. my car was full of bird's metabolic waste materials after the sending off was done. banyak shit wah. shit banar. shit eh. banar-banar tah shit. nda lagi nda shit. shit.

Jasni's Place. a small open house for the invited. foods and of course, karaoke, Jasni's specialty every event at home. too bad i had to leave before midnight due to morning shift the next day. i would've enjoyed destroying my voice on the microphone if it wasn't for the rush to rest.

speaking of rest. need to sleep a bit more now. krg mlm first-night shift. tommorow will be last-night shift. then it'll be four days off. woot!

Didah's Open House. the open house we would try very hard not to miss. the best of foods... and cats too! went to Farah's first after my day shift then straight to Didah's open house. i thought i left Arjen at home right until i saw my camera bag inside back bonnet. love the lasagne and tiramisu cake. nyum!

im still wondering how the hell the latest Harry Potter got knocked down by G-Force in the box office. watched it with the Love at the cinema and... even UP was much much better than G-Force. antah eh. rats.

going to send off Amir, Jimin and Jiji later. all three going to Belfast for Bachelor Degree Civil Engineering final year. best of luck mates! then convoi with OTPS to Jasni's place. hope i wont get to tired for day shift tommorow. urgh.

unlike previous Aidilfitris, did a special open house for mates this year on the 5th of Syawal. i usually organise it somewhere around middle of Syawal during everyone's free time. due to shift training and everyone's personal commitment was the reason why i open house was earlier than usual.

i would like to thank all those who made it to the open house even with the surrounding discomfort. sampai berpaluh2 pun still stay lama2. my airconditioiner fucked us up last minute, dlm 2 jam lagi kan start. we thought maybe gas saja yg abis. turns out it was the compressor that gone haywire. compressor stock check udah brapa lama then installation lagi mau take at least 2-3 hours. we had to buy a pair of tower fans which wasn't that satisfying. mun tau bali saja tia portable aircond atu. simpan hose panjang2. or mist fan kah. inda alang2. haha. sasak.

so once again, thank you so very very much for coming. mudahan next year ada chance and aircond nda rusak. i can see a lot were expecting the once per year laksa. sorry for that. we were just trying something different for this year. i should have made more Harumakis (inspired by the Love). a lot inda ampit. Alhamdulillah laku. buleh buat business. hehe.

the event started with the arrival of Iskandar's group who i couldn't make it to his open house which was earlier that afternoon. sorry Iskandar. the winner for this year's open house would be Qayyum, Saufi and Jambri (bottom set; top right) for staying until 2AM. without the availability of food pun masih dtg and stayed until late. thanks very much mates. as for Shaq (bottom set; top left), eversince the first time i organised open house, inda pandai miss. Shaq is kira our tukang meriahkan suasana. susah hati kami mun ya nada. haha. thanks a lot bro. you're the best~

first and foremost, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2009M/1930H to all muslimin and muslimats around the world. segala silap dan salah in all sorts of form by yours truly sangat-sangatlah diharap supaya diampun kan. i guess it's not too late to greet everyone here even though i had done it through short text messaging and official friendster-killer, facebook.com. anyway, wishing you a very good Raya this year. enjoy~

Alhamdulillah, anak bulan was not sabit kelihatan which resulted to the postpond of first Syawal in Brunei. if it was otherwise, i would have missed Solat Sunat Raya in the morning. i was having night shift during the moon sighting. Raya Eve, as always, the most fun part of it. i just love the feeling of last minute preparations and of course, firecracker battle. me? mana buleh miss berjuang di medan perang. wuuhoo! and taking pictures of those beautiful fires in the sky was really a challenge. in a split of a second, boom, the best shape was gone. slept at 3am.

RAYA AT NINI AJI

then it was first day of Raya. just like every year, headed to Nini Aji's place first after Solat Raya. not much happened here, only 3 families including us when we were there. Nini Aji didn't make any Nasi Warna Warni this year but sausage definitely was a fine replacement. hehe. around almost lunchtime, it was time to go to visit kubur in KB.

haha, lapar tah udah bapaku tu (left most small picture) right after, went straight to Telisai. this is where Raya mood started to kick. probably because it was a kampong which made it fell like beraya di kampong... i don't know. relatives from as far as bandar came down to pay a visit and all. had an unpleasant news after being acknowledged one of our relatives passed away. attended the burial after visited Nini Boy's kubur. my condolences to the family. semoga roh-roh mereka dicucuri rahmat. Al-Fatihah.

SOTO UDA AJI

the moment i've been waiting for the whole bloody day, Uda Aji's soto! not to be missed every 1st Raya. rugi~ i must say this is the best soto ever and available only once per year. buleh kalahkan Soto Aji Tuah udah eh. hehe. how good is it? tu Mama udah start mengaut ah. yang lain baru otw ambil mangkuk apa. haha. there is one more special thing about every 1st Raya, Uwa Iga's lemang. i think he is the only one left in the family who is so specialised in lemang making. almost 2 Raya's udah kami inda ampit but this year, he kept some for us. yay! we also visited almost all relatives available in Telisai until midnight.

MONDAY (Kiulap)- probably my last sungkai outing for this year's Ramadhan. Excapade is a no strange name for Japanese food lovers in Brunei. even to those who sort-of-dislike Japanese food as well. been craving for this eversince JaiAlai invited us to break the fast at KB Branch Excapade some time last week which i had to decline due to night shift training.

now, what are a must order for me everytime going to Excapade? first, Harumaki(in picture). basically a Popia Cheese. easily made at home but there is something about eating it there that make it taste so good. second, Tempura Ice Cream. Ice Cream Goreng. how the hell did they make the ice cream not melt? a definite must dessert. third, at least one dish of salmon, in Monday's case, it was Salmon Fire Cheese (in picture) and Salmon Mentaikyo. nyum~ last but not least, a drink in the form of Mint Lemon Tea which i purposely change to Milo Milk Shake (in picture) due to my crave for the one's at Red Canopy. oh, we have Canopy at BLNG canteen btw and they make the best Milo Milk Shake ever.

i don't quite remember what kind of Ramadhan Special they offer but it has something to do with a rate of discount for privilege card holders. pakai my HSBC Headstart pun jadi tah ada discount sikit. heh. watched The Ugly Truth right after at the movies. very funny. i like it.

my last shift cycle at a Water OT today. should be changed to Cooling Tower OT by First Night shift. im having sun burn due to the unusual, very sensational, what the fuck heat from the sun. fire burning~fire burning on the dance floor~ kuat eh panas nya today. nasib nda pacah puasa. haha.

SATURDAY (Kuala Belait) - there were two sungkai gathering invitations last saturday but in the end i opted for this instead of OGDC at Iskandar's since it's very very rare for all of us to be in one particular place at once due to each and everyone's personal commitment. well, not all made it but it's okay i guess. there will be some other time ain't it? it was a fun night. all my biggest of thanks to this year's organiser, Ajim (guy in Man Utd polo)

had our sungkai at KB Thai Bucaneer. the buffet was nice. then head to Seria for a bit of arcades and lepaking and... Liverpool manang! woot!

ohhhh that was a lazy hair. aher bangun. biasa. heh and oh, Bon Voyage to Zye and Jurin. goodluck with furthering your studies. BLAJAR!

Lamb Shank

opened just few months ago in KB, i must say RMS have one of the best lamb shanks i've tasted so far. easy scrap off with the spoon and easy bites as well. an extra tasty finish with the sauce. pretty much meet my needs for the crave of Bruneianly pronounced 'Giabok'... Sup Gearbox lah. nganya this one without the soup. anyway, no buffet or eat-all-you-can offered but a promotion instead which consists of a starter meal, a main meal and a sort-of light meal which normally cost around $30 will cost only $20 or you can replace the light meal with another main meal with the same promotion price. one price enough for two people. went there with the love and... we didn't finish up the foods ordered due to bad planning.

anyway, lamb shank lovers, you have go to try the ones here if you haven't.

Unfinished Business

went for a Sungkai outing with the Love's family yesterday at iLotus. invited by Aboi (center in small set of pictures below) to celebrate his recent job promotion. congrats! and thanks very much for the treat. hehe.

iLotus offered a wide variety of meals for last night's customers. delicious as usual. the grill section caught my attention the most and i absolutely love the warm fresh soya bean. different from Manjaro's style of supporting LoveFoodHateWaste Campaign, every unfinished foods will be charged at $3.00 per 100 grams and... ada jua lah yg dibayar in our case. except for some makanan grill that came late. late as in our tummy already full baru tah kan sampai. we got excused for that one. there were a lot of people who came which i think is nothing unusual every fasting month. the famous Rano from ranoadidas.com, Abil and long time no see Nicole were among familiar faces seen there.

puas ati makan but i ended up eating some banana thingy from Bakerlyn because i was practically craving for it and now im craving for Big Apple Donuts...

Enche Cabin

nothing better than 4 days of offday after 4 days of a pair of morning and night shifts. after a hard time choosing, me and the love finally decided to just have our sungkai at Manjaro, Kiulap. my first impression once entering "wah ku pikir basar tampat ani..." turns out it was a place like... you know, a perfect place to bring your date. lighting nya romantic sudah but the tables should be further apart for individual privacies.

the foods were nice nevertheless. the buffet+eat-all-you-can system was a bit unique. the main dishes the likes of rice or pasta were all on the main table. the side dishes were available for orders and they come in small plates which they said was to prevent any waste of food. but you can order as many as you want under the same prize which i forgot the figure.

as you can clearly see, they mispelled my name on the reservation label. remember P Ramlee's Nujum Pak Belalang? dimanakah letaknya kekuatan Hang Tuah? Ta dengan Ba? =s

went to watch the movie UP right after. cali jualah. i give it a 4 out of 5. hehe.

A Year More

ironic, the rain is now pouring down heavily and my ears are fed with the delight sound of 'No Rain' by Blindmelon.

the first highlight of the post, the Love's birthday. fell on yesterday, 15th August. i won't say her current age for she will upset... nevermind it's on the pictures anyway. we celebrated it with picking up my car from the workshop (full service) and watching District 9 before heading to i-Lotus for a dinner with her family. Apis joined us as well. funny thing there was another person with the same birthday just next table. we told them to take pictures together but the Love inda mau. to be honest, it was my first time going to i-Lotus and i am certainly impressed by the food we ordered. then went cruising around, spending beautiful time together to close the curtain. Happy Belated Birthday sayang, i want mobile baru also =( nyehe and yeah, not to forget the twin uncles, Erman and Erwan whose birthday were also yesterday. hehe

Manisha was back from Singapore for almost-a-week of vacation in Brunei. as usual, the group met up at WYWY, reminiscing about the past and what do we plus others are doing now. some couldn't make it. quite a shock to hear Manisha is currently taking two Bachelor Degree courses. i mean like, satu A-Level udah ku kapar2. haha. she still understand the Bruneian words which is good =x nada wah Man. one thing i noticed was that... mcm Manisha sorang saja yang inda betambah bulat LOL oh what the hell, the upcoming shift training is going to major pull my weight down. it must! haha.

speaking of shift training, it's going to officially start tommorow. im assigned to Shift B alongside Daus, my Utility partner as well as Nafi and Amis in the Process section. im thinking of just using my own transport instead of hopping on STL Van but... that might change. we'll see. tommorow, night shift... must not sleep tonight.

finally played football a bit more properly this afternoon. thanks to the little rain after work which lower down the haze a little. nyaman jua sikit rasanya... anyway, went to two weddings last Sunday.

first, Iskandar's younger brother, Noresman's wedding. went to the groom side only, unfortunately, since the bride's place is around an hour away. as usual on Bruneian groom side tradition, berjarah ceremony and all. familiar faces were around which made me a bit less nervous to go around taking pictures. they had a rombongan made up of a big bus and a group of Nissan 350Zs which was cool. if aku besanding nanti, i want a group of Nissan Skyline R35 ikut ngantar. yeeha!

then i went to the second one. the best moment in every Bruneian wedding, at the bride's place...

as per request by the parents of the bride through my mother, i had to attend this other wedding of which i later know is an employee of BLNG. one thing i can say about this wedding, the best. simple yet exquisite. not only the mempelais were good looking, even the whole decoration set ups were as gorgeous. a lot of people were flocking up front to get a close look at the groom and the bride which made it a bit hard for me to get a good shot. well, i was only a non-paid freelance photographer anyway. besides, it's the enjoyment i prefer. too bad i couldn't stay long to catch the post wedding ceremony and oh my battery went dead halfway by the way. thanks very much to people of the house for letting me to charge my batteries before the groom's arrival. nasib sampat. haha.

i ended up sleeping til dinner after arriving home later on that afternoon.

it was a very fun sunday.

We Won't Stand For Hazy Eyes Anymore

PANAS! PANAS! oh why is the rain not here yet. KB is experiencing one hell of a heavy haze eversince the heavy forest fire in Seria a couple days ago. right now, the remains in the form of smoke is creating some kind of blanket preventing heat from escaping into the uppest atmosphere. gila eh. bisai lagi melayah atas boiler ni.

what's new? a lot of things. especially at work but let's get on with this first. some time last week went out with some fellow ex-OGDC-ians, Aiman and Hilfi to WYWY Seria for some meal. Farah was just back from UK so decided to just bring her along with us. sisters Alai and Zair joined us as well since the both of them was actually about to 'lepak' with Hilfi.

went to the Perayaan right after to get mom's longans and the most important, COTTON CANDY, because there WEREN'T any cotton candies around Perayaan at the capital. went to the Perayaan a number of times. there were still a lot of people going to food Gerais but comparing to the previous years, kurang meriah lah. damn that H1N1. one good thing about the KB Perayaan is that i get to meet me mates from the old times. maybe spontaneous but it's just that... it just felt good and "you are not alone~~~"

as i mentioned before, at work, so many new things. we finally got the official BLNG coverall after more than a year of claiming. the new canteen is nice, with the coupons especially which kind of resolve my financial situation a little. familiar faces just keep on coming to BLNG the likes of Hj Fadh, Zye, DyDy, Sepol etc congratulations to the 22 people who got accepted into 2009 OTPS especially the 10 girls for being the first batch of ladies in the history of the Progression Scheme. 22... twenty two... dua puluh dua... ITB pun sawan until major changes were made. instead of us starting the new part time term, we are now subjected to enter shift training next week while the juniors will be in ITB for a Full Time term until November. EXTRA ALLOWANCE FOR US! HOORAY!

im missing the love a lot. she's in Bandar now to further her studies at ITB. very jarang berjumpa. nanti aku masuk shift lagi tia payah ni. oh well, i guess this is the real world. masing2 punya future. different worlds but get through it together =D mencintaimu~lebih dari apa pun~

Two Become One

above, the engagement ring from Abg Hakim to soon to be bride, Dizah. the event was held yesterday, July 15th. the second of Haji Md Rais's granchildren to get engaged and the first to get married which should be around the end of this year. can't wait. all of us were soaking wet when we arrived at Kaka Dizah's place because of the sudden pour of heavy rain. hujan rahmat as what they said. just like what i told Pa Maman, yang lain buleh basah but not your camera, so no pictures from the soon to be bride's side. meanwhile other pictures should be up once im done with my End Test together with those from Mijan's brother wedding. insyaallah.

probably the best and most proper picture i got of him that day. he just love being in front of the camera. haha. congratulations to both Abg Akim and Kaka Dizah!

my car is currently in the workshop. just sent it earlier this morning before going to ITB and that was 2 weeks after the small Tanjung Bunut incident. was using Vios going around the capital with the Love. i can see the gerai stalls are still on despite of the whole H1N1 epidemics going on. that means Ahad's Burger will be available in perayaan KB. hooray! and longans too! wuuhuuuu~ anyway, my car repair works are done. will pick it up tommorow morning.

i need to get some sleep now. i only slept for 3 hours since last night.

Fahrul and Shikin Wedding

last Sunday i got the chance to cover another wedding which was of Mijan's eldest brother. after reading some tips from photography magazines gave me ideas on what sort of things to do. the groom side event, which i was invited to, took place at ICC. arrived there 30 minutes earlier. there was another wedding event took place and thank god we didn't enter the other hall because i was already all heated up with taking pictures just outside the hall's entrance. well, we weren't the only ones who got ourselves mislocated anyway. right after, we had a car chase for sending off the groom to the bride side. we lost the groom's car on the way but luckily two rombongan buses were just infront of us to tail-follow. friendly group of people on the bride's side and a lot of Poco-pocos as well. hehe. congratulations to both the newly weds. you both looked absolute superb.

the magazine tips helped me a little in the form of what kind of shot should i take. little improvement is still improvement isn't it. where can i get more? it's this thing down here.

The Apprentice: Lesson with Papz

somewhere around earlier this week, Mr Papz brought us up for a hangout at Pantai Tungku. seriously speaking (typing?), it was my first time going there. little that i know we were going to get photography lessons from Papz. some basic rules were taught. not just basic, basic important ones and guess what, i got the chance to equip a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM onto Arjen courtesy of Papz. one of every Canon amateur's dream lens. my hands are itching to get a hold of it even now still. amazing lens. easy, fast, sharp, nevermind the weight and doesn't even need any editting. the result after clicking the shutter button is a perfect quality. pure satisfaction. somebody please buy me one!

Qayum is back from UK so he joined us as well. what about the movie? i give it an awesome rating for the alien robots (graphics), explosions (endless battles), and *ehem* much more Megan Fox (hot! hot! hot!)... i would lie if i said i wasn't attracted to Megan Fox in the movie. jgn cubit me syg~nyehe the storyline was pretty much predictable but that won't affect my personal rating. wouldn't mind going for another watch of the movie.

hello world! it's been so long isn't it. things have been pretty much hectic with all the 'fast track' schedule at ITB. study periods is being cut down so we have only so much free time. one definite thing for this new term is to double our effort. not only this term. the rest of the ITB term which should end by the end of this year. Mr Arnold promised to bring us on a 'somewhere nice in Phillipines' trip of we manage to get excellent results. now, that's a motivation.

had a graduation photoshoot for the Love. i know pictures are take are probably the most amateur but i just happen to want it to be me who take those pictures. it's just the want to be a part of one of the most important things in her life. she worked hard for it and this is a form of a gift for her graduation from me =)

we put a double trouble on him this year with two surprises. one, at his place, where we all came and bust the shit out of him while he was very nicely asleep. it was 12 midnight. then later on that night, after football, we tricked him to Nazira for another surprise. that's when i gave him 4 free tickets to watch P2F Reunion Concert ticket. jgn ko nda liat eh. susah2 ku dapat tu =x and the mastermind behind both the surprises, bininya. hehe.

DAUS's BIRTHDAY

the day after Nafi's bday. he got a nice Birthday Pizza surprise from his girlfriend and i got a slice out of it. yeeha! sorry Doh, nada Superman cake this year. Dim Sum pun okay ah, ah, ah?

there has been bush/forest fires around in recent weeks and it happened everyday. almost everywhere even! the cause is unknown. wether it is natural or man-made. maybe unintentional man-made or intentional man-made... who knows? quite annoying really with all the hazes. health danger it is. props to the Firemen who worked hard to put off the fire on a non-stop basis even til late night. good job mates!

speaking of health. almost the whole OTPS caught fever last week and yours truly was no exception. it was one of the worst i've seen. loads of MC's in one day for almost everyday of the week. now Alhamdulillah, good pogress since everyone seems to be feeling better and better. Si Ajis pun start triak2 balik. no, not hysteria, sawan saja. haha. i also had a sudden hearing problem few days before the fever. it took me a week of treatment and my hearing is as good as just being born.

FA CUP FINAL: CHELSEA vs EVERTON

it marked the end of football season with Chelsea crowned as the new FA Cup Champions at New Wembly last night. despite the early record breaking goal by Luis Saha (25 seconds prior kick off), Chelsea managed to make a huge comeback with Didier Drogba's header in the first half and a long range strike by Frank Lampard. as they said, a perfect farewell gift for on-loan manager Guss Hiddink. Chelsea; blue, Everton; blue... the whole stadium was blue!

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL: BARCELONA vs MANCHESTER UNITED

Champion of England head to head with Champion of Spain in one very exciting match. it was also widely covered as a match between two of world's best player; Christiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) and Lionel Messi (Barcelona). Manchester United were pretty dominant during the few minutes of the first half up until Eto'o scored the opening goal of the match to make Barcelona take the lead. Manchester United lost seemed to lose their rythm for the rest of the match after that. a wonderful ball by Xavi reached Messi's head and into the back of the net to give a comfortable lead for the Spanish Champions. the match proved not worth of a comeback after the final whistle for Manchester United and Barcelona were crowned the new Champions of Europe. props to Guardiola for such an achievement at a young age and first season as a manager.

after more than a decade of service in Liverpool, Sami Hypia finally decided to move on with signing to Bundesliga team Bayern Laverkuzen. the match against Tottenham Hotspurs was his last with the KOP and it wasn't on TV. what the fuck =( anyway, thank god for youtube.com, Torres scored his 50th in just 2 seasons and Sami came in as the skipper for one last time and Gerrard made sure he himself put the Captain armband on Sami. with all the flying colours of 'Thank You Sami' all over Anfield by the fans on his last day, Sami burst into tears after the final whistle. going to Jasni's later for OTPS Happy Hour BBQ. this is to celebrate our result improvement if compared with the last term. i made it through this time with one Merit and two passes. Alhamdulillah. a very big congratultions to Hasril of course. now, everyone, next term, let's aim for 100%! what say you? i want that Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8...

somewhere around KK Town. i was just basically snapping anything while i was in the car. i noticed there were nice pieces of graffitis on the pillars of of which i believe the abandoned, unfinished building.. well, maybe not that nice. i just like the looks of it. hehe.

the phase tests are finally over yesterday. Plant Process was a complete nightmare to the point i just had to apply every common sense and BLNG plant knowledge that i could possibly re-cap. whereas Engineering Science was a relief. maybe some mistakes but won't cost that much of marks. on the other side of the note. goodluck to those who were interviewed at ITB yesterday.

Manchester United are now six points clear off Merseyside Reds in the Premier League table. hardly anyone can stop them now. hopefully there will be any. Liverpool will be tonight against the high spirited Newcastle United who are in the relegation group. lets just hope Steven Gerrard's return will give us a win.

soon after the end test we will start our proper shift training and new intake will be coming this June. anyway, got loads of flowlines to finish. better start doing that now.

Far Too Long

went to KK just last week. as mentioned earlier, it was my first time going there. such a long way down the road. tiring, sangal since you can't move much inside the car and i was pissed off early morning due to some problems at the Limbang Kastam which wasted so much of our time.

anyway, KK was awesome. i wished i was there a little more longer but work commitments caused me not. we stayed at Novotel. definitely a 5 star hotel. worth the price. the people were nice and very much friendly. i even had a long chit-chat session with 1 Borneo Starbucks people til late night. oh, very camera shy by the way. sorry i delayed your final curtain. hehe. the water landscapes impressed me the most. bluest of clean water which was nice to the eyes. it is a definite that im going there again. this time hopefully is by flight or if it will be decided by road then maybe using a much bigger car. visit to Mount Kinabalu and the famous island... what's the name.. would be nice. well, all in all, you can say it was perfect birthday present for me since we went there a day after my birthday.

some of OTPS mates were invited by Papady Papz to play so i say why not take the chance to grab some shots. looking at the lenses and camera's some of them were holding, i feel like a piece of sand. very sacrificial for me to get like one of those. maybe one day. so anyway, it was one hell of a challenging task to take photo's of a fotball match. my focal length was not sufficient enough and my fingers needed to be much faster on the focused object. it was fun. surely another one would be nice. it was a surprise to see Aji Ajim playing for the PhotoG's. they finally get to control the game after Apis's shot founf the net for the equaliser after a first half own goal. the match ended in a victory for PhotoG's over RBAF with two goals to one.

i wonder how the MD Trophy bowling tournament went...

and so Liverpool did it again! after the agonizing defeat at the hands of Chelsea during Champions League First Leg Quarter Finals, Liverpool responded with a 4-nil win over Blackburn FC. Fernando Torres with a brace (first goal; awesome volley!), Ngog and Agger (what a strike!) with one each. Champions League is a definite doubt but as for Premier League, maybe it seems hard with advantages all on Man Utd but nothing is impossible and title race is still on! btw Erman watched the match at Anfield. ahhh, siok eh. not only because it's Liverpool. not on because it was Anfield. goal nya wah lawa2. aku mau.

we (me, Daus,Apis) encountered a bad accident on our way back to KB yesterday. it was exactly Maghrib when we stopped by to have a look. the Subaru must have caught on fire before we arrived. wallahua'lam to what exactly happened and current condition of the people who was in the car. i just hope the driver and the passangers if there were any are safe.

of all last night's World Cup Qualifier matches, England's win over Slovakia made it to the main news headlines. i only get to watch up until Carlton Cole coming in for Heskey who scored a very rare goal for his country. i fell asleep on the couch... anyway, England won with four goals which includes Rooney with a brace, Lampard and Heskey with one each. all the big teams also won last night.

we went to celebrate Babah's bday with a dinner out at Lemongrass last night. The Love and Jai Alai joint us as well. Jambri couldn't make it to the dinner so he came to my place later on to meet us up.

oh yeah, the girlfriend just came back from KK yesterday. the Thailand flight was cancelled due to frauds going on in the process. cilaka banar urang atu. nasib di refund nya balik duit ticket. she bought me loads of things from there and i love all of them =D im going to KK next month. going to be my first time. hearing good stories from her, Alai and other people that went there, i think it's going to be a good vacation. hopefully i'll get to finish up all the water treatment flowlines before going there and that includes Badas water supply. i don't want to go to Badas alone.

the girlfriend is going on a vacation to Thailand tommorow. it was supposedly on Monday but some system errors caused it to postpond. have loads of fun there ya love. im going to miss her very much =(

new chocolates are finally on the shelves of Nafi Seria. i've been waiting for it for months now. loads of easter egg specials like the one above are currently on sale there at quite a reasonable price for a chocolate lover like me.

attended a wedding ceremony of a member of a family very close to us for a very long time. congratulations to Kaka Nonoi and her now husband. she was one of the people who gave me good advices during my curriculum age. thank you =) it was a beautiful wedding.i call this The White Wedding. not so white in the pictures you say? blame it on my excessive editting touch + not creating backup file =s

What Do I Know About Diamonds?

for the coming 22 years of my life, 14th March 2009 marked the first time ever i step foot on one of the country's tourism diamond, the water village, locally pronounced Kampong Ayer. went with the love and Memeng's family for a photography outing while visiting their relatives there.

it was quite a long while since the last i went on a boat so things were pretty shaky at start. girlfriend ku tu jahat. adakah gtaunya urg boat tenggalam kalau aku naik. kurang asam. haha. the weather was a bit against us. there were wedding ceremonies taking place so things were a little fun with the sound of celebrations.

had 'real' local cuisines for lunch. i don't know names of the masakans but the ambuyat set, especially the cacah was the best. the best i ever tasted to the point that my tummy was out of space for everything else. we were all just chilling, taking a tour around the village we were in, taking pictures and fishing for the enthusiasts. no fishes though. yeah, there were Hair Saloons and even Burger Housestalls too to my surprise.

then took a tour on a boat around the whole village. finally get to see the historical monuments which we hear only in stories back at primary school such as Jong Batu of Nakhoda Manis and also a very small island where the chickens were cursed to stone by i believe it was Awang Alak Betatar. another surprise, there was a Nasi Katok stall somewhere around the other village.

personally, it was a five star moment. a tiring one too. went back to land somewhere around late afternoon. straight to Yayasan to empty our bladders and KFC. we missed junk foods somehow didn't we. hehe. a very big thanks to Aboy and Memeng for the invitaton. i'd be very pleased to go there again.

it must have been the greatest week of my life. easily answering Chemistry paper (i always had a hard time answering since high school years) Liverpool humiliated Real Madrid with 4 goals without reply, then a glorious victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford. was watching the match with both Liverpool and Manchester mates at Riviera KB and i must say, inda rugi eh. it's not easy to win against MU on their home ground. local Man U fans kept on telling me "merasa tah kamu kekalahan kali ani" for weeks and i was hoping for a draw just not to be ambitious. with regards of the scoreline, it really went over my expectation and every Liverpool fans including me, went home overjoyed. You'll Never Walk Alone.

the next day there were all complains from Red Devils fans on the radio all over and over again. maybe you were right, title is still out of reach. the most important thing is we won that important match and it was an amazing comeback from one goal down. Manchester United made a lot of mistakes during the match and Liverpool took advantage of every opportunities. as simple as that. rilek lah. skali-skala kami manang basar di Old Trafford.

antah! i just feel very tired today. maybe because i stayed up very late last night. was watching FA cup quarter finals. the giant teams won each to get through to the semis. Chelsea had no problem beating Coventry with goals from Drogba and a surprising one from Centre Back, Alex. Manchester United on the other hand smoothed their way against Fulham with four goals from returning Tevez, Rooney and Park Ji Sung. as a football fan, i would probably say that it was a fantastic performance despite the absence of the full first team squad.

played footie with the guys from Switchfest. haven't played with them for a very long time. despite leading, we lost. it was a target practice with the cone and duh, i suck at it. i needed that little exercise to raise fitness and form for the match against Bebeq's team somewhere around this month. im just concerned about how lack we are in substitutions in that 90 minutes 11-a-side match.

enough football, the girlfriend told me to join the photography outing at Kampong Ayer with Aboy next weekend. sounds interesting. might be joining. maybe i'll get to learn a few things while having fun. i kinda like the electric grilling pan whatever. it was fun despite of shortwhile. maybe i should persuade my parents to get one. heh.

finally! it's here! my very much awaited first other-than-kit-lens lens. i've used this type (belongs to Jairo) for the BLNG Emblem Night and was very satisfied with it. it took me a lot of thinking before ordering though on which to get first. thanks to Mr Papady for the conclusion. up next would be the 50mm mark 11 and insyaallah one of those Wide Angle Zoom. i need all of these for my cousin's engagement this July and hopefully i can complete the whole in plan before his wedding later on in December.

me and the love went to Empire for a tour few days ago. to tell you the truth that was only my second time going there. yeah. i know. kesian kan. diam. heh. not only the indoors but outdoor sceneries are fantastic. perfect for photo taking which was my early plan. unfortunately, it was already dark enough to beat my camera's capability and my speedlite was out of battery. build in flash? why not. then again, my camera's battery was out soon after pffft but i did get to take one though. yes, iatah nganya yg ku beruleh tu yg diatas ah.

very happy belated birthday to Mijan Panda on 5th March! sorry nada present. hanyalah sekeping jigsaw puzzle yg aku buat2 sharing sama Ajis... jigsaw puzzle kah tu? haha. hope you had a great one ya mate.

THE KEY

after more than 2 months away from hometown, we're finally back to home sweet home. the most comfort of sleeping bed, tastiest of food every dinner, 24 hours internet availability, sports channel on television and not a single report to do for a very long time. each one of us got the new BLNG E-Kawal as you can see up there and i think i am the only one with a full name printed on. bloody. we are now divided to our own sections. im now part of the Utilities section along with 6 others. 3 are sent to Refinery and the rest are in Process section.

went for lens survey yesterday with the love. im still deciding of which to get. paning. anyways, the left one was taken using Tokina 11-16mm and the right one with Sigma 10-20mm. the picture quality... yeah Photoshop stuff. too lazy on the Sigma one. heh. i like the 10-20mm first-hand-result better than the Tokina but the Tokina has a good reputation in terms of dark lighting conditions as said by a friend.. or should i get a Standard Zoom lens first? hrrrrm.

going to Nazira later in the afternoon for a sleepover. we're going to have a National Day marching rehearsal at the stadium and im too lazy to go on the bus from KB. i don't want to wake up at 4 in the morning... and miss the breakfast at Orchid Garden. heh.

just got back from DST for some bill payment. waiting for lunch. quite a relief to wake up with superfine weather outside. some things concerned me a lot though. especially regarding the rumours of high tide starting from 4th to 7th this month which said possibility to cause flooding. let's just pray and hope it won't be like the last. the worst in 42 years as very well informed by RTB newsreader last night.

Chemistry paper is tommorow and most of my notes are left at Nazira. bloody. that means that i need to go back to Jerudong early later. probably around 1.30pm. my pendrive is a piece of junk right now and im quite pissed about it since it contained all the things from our Anniversary. ahhhh. semua nda kena.

oh my, finally, some rest from everything. i thought im going to be extra busy with End Test continously until next Monday up until Daus told me there's actually a 2 days gap between Engineering Drawing and Chamistry paper. maybe short lived but that's what i really need for now. moreover to lie asleep half dead whatever on my very own bed at home sweet home.

speaking of Engineering Drawing, we had the test earlier this morning. it wasn't that bad except i couldn't finish up some very small details of the last question and drawing an inverted version of what was actually asked in the first question. 2 hours for 3 drawings and one theory... 10 minutes more would be enough in my case. being a little more observant would help a lot as well. 4 more reports to be done. 2 of which are paired with Radhi. hopefully can finish them up soon.

last Saturday night was awesome. we had BLNG and Refinery Emblem Night 2008 at Rizqun Songket Ballroom. my second Emblem after Brunei Shell HD Emblem when i was still in OGDC just last year. same case, i was involved in a stage sitcom again. on a much smaller role this time, as one of the delivery boy alongside Nafi, comparing with the last one where i was the hero's sidekick. our sitcom was about how bad an effective fast body slimming pogram can turn out. again, there were guys who became girls. not to be mentioned who. haha. the acting was quite a mess but Alhamdulillah, we got the THIRD place! im very satisfied with the result because we only practiced for 3 bloody days! moreover, with the busy schedule at school.

also took place were the award ceremony for long service employees, performances by local artists and dances by some dancing studio. looking at the fantastically decorated ballroom, the attendees; how gorgeously they dress, the marvelous taste of the food.. it makes me miss the whole thing about school prom. well, in a way, it was a prom. an upgraded and more costly one. as for myself, i had a splendid night. i know we all did, didn't we?

thanks very much to JaiMimi for lending me her 28-135mm lens. i enjoyed it very much. my new Canon 430 EX II as well. man, i wouldn't know even a single drop of what to do properly if Edy didn't show me any. i was all about taking picture that night. not really that nice pictures but.. yeah. i think i want to be an event photographer.

so right during the after party the photographers kinda borrowed the dancers for a while for some photoshoot. not a tryout chance to be missed. pictures of the whole group were all not good. either overexposed, wrong speedlite concentration or too dark.

hope the pictures are as nice as they looked on my laptop. they turned out not the same when i opened them up on my desktop i chose to let it remain unchanged despite confusion. on the other hand, my External HDD is currently out of space. i need to get a new one since i've used up 99% of Arjen's memory card. need a new one. oh, and i hope it's not too late to say a very Happy Chinese New Year.

next term we will be back in BLNG. then some will be going to Process, some Utility and some will be far away at Refinery... first time 18 of us will be saperated. i wonder how would that turn out..

it has really been a while since my last post. loads of things has slowed down my updating rate. the main factor would be school. massive amount of reports to submit and tests at the same time. just when wew were done with one report, another came and they just kept on coming. there are still some reports to be done even. there will be another phase test coming up next week and the end term test a week after. so.. yeah, things has really been so hecicly crazy.

anyway, went to the TAIB Roadshow at OGDC last week. i missed the morning session due to my finally sleeping beauty. the Roadshow.. not bad i must say. they had some kind of insurance promotion which attracted a lot of people. a lot of other fun things took place as well such as Winning Eleven and Guitar Hero Tournament, Ismakom car exhibition, Hyundai Coupe gathering, Caricature (karikatur?) Artists etc. these are the two cars which caught my attention the most. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and the car i have always wanted to buy, Infiniti G35 (Nissan Skyline Coupe 350GT)

it's a good day to play football. which we will in half an hour time. it's been almost three weeks without football. size and weight has increased. feeling quite unhealthy for quite some time now without any active physical activities.

i like this. even though it's just a result of a shaky image, it still look nice. spooky in a way. still artsy somehow. yea.

it has been raining crazy these few days. even right now it's that bloody heavy. i like rain. the sound. the feeling... but not when it's heavy. it's like between Jazz music and Heavy Metal music. but Heavy Metal is nice. anyway, be sure to drive safe and slow on the road. that goes up to meself too.

THIS IS BURNING

last sunday. i was called to a Reunion Barbeque for the OGDC 2008 batch. everything was held around the Exploratrium area. it was a very good night to be honest. good food. karaokes. winning eleven. talking about what we do nowadays and how things were in the past and such. only Maria didn't make it from this batch according to my observation. one of the Powerpuff girls... the other two were Pijah and Farah btw. they were always together. haha. i wanted to stay longer but i had to travel all the way to Bandar for school the next day. left early.

it has been quite a bad week for me. first i fell down twice on the same wound and on the exact same spot during street soccer last Tuesday. an ugly looking wound just below my knee where i landed and down my elbow as well. next there wasn't any water while i was doing toilet business the next day. embarassing. then i almost ran over a car infront of a petrol station nearby my second home. lucky i didn't run over the lamp post when i made my car go up the side stable during the car crash avoidance. crazy. everything was based on misjudgement and lack of focus. sleepy maybe.

one more test paper to go. the last two weren't so bad. im not sure about the accuracy of my solutions but at least i got the feeling that i can answer the questions. tommorow's test will all be about proper time management. it's always like that every Engineering Drawing tests.

im loving 'I Woke Up Today' by Port O'Brien at the moment. my morning wake up alarm. the song 'Kamu' by Nitrus made it to my current Top Ten playlist as well.

so this is the new year. doesn't feel that much of a different doesn't it?

yesterday marked the end of year 2008 as the clock stroke twelve in the midnight extraordinary fireworks like the most beautiful sets of flowers blooming for few seconds one by one in the dark skies around the globe. spending New Year's Eve on the new Russell Peters and Dota with friends while our one night only neighbour was having a splendid party wasn't that bad afterall i guess.

so what's in for new year? in my case, not much. don't know yet actually. out with the old, in with the new, same old same old whatever. the point of the matter here is i do not have any resolutions yet. i never have any new year resolutions. my resolutions just come at random times.

looking back at year 2008, there were loads of good better best and bad worse worst of moments. happy things and sad things. one saddest thing is i had to leave the place i love most. a place where i learn about most of the real things in life and the first place where i learn to earn my own money. that place is OGDC but situations still wasn't the right. something was missing. some things just wasn't enough. so i decided to move on and got myself into BLNG where i am now in the situation of achieving my ambition when i was little. to work in a plant. moreover, i still get to continue my studies which have been delayed for so long.

in the sense of general things in life, situations are good. my relationship with the other half is going smoothly and we're both happy with each other. together for more than a year, it's been in a really long run now which maybe not what i expected but always wished and believed. having new friends now make me have lesser time with old companions. i miss them. i can still see the home boys during usual Friday football at Arena. the girls, i haven't seen them for a long time. even with those im closest with i seem to have failure to communicate with them. maybe because each and everyone of us are doing our own things now. i don't know. one thing i know is that i dont want to become more and more of a stranger to everyone i know. the worry. the fear.

another fear, temper. the thing i used to be in so much of control. nowadays, it let loose very easily without myself realising it. maybe it's due to the pressure of something new in school. thank god it only reach to the point of voice raising. if it come to the point of aggressive body contact, then i should go to the doctor. something must have gone wrong with me if ever that happens.

improvements. is what i must do for each and every heartbeat of my life. i can't keep disappointing everyone in any kind of manner. maybe this is a right time to apologize for every mistakes i've done to any one of you. i know some of my actions can be bitter. i was young. im still young but a little more wiser and in the process of being one fully grown man. very easy to ask for forgiveness and you never know when you are going to implify another wound on others isn't it. one mistake can cost you a lot really. how forever it is, that is the real question.

i talked too much

anyway, best highlight of year 2008 were so many. the main ones are our first anniversary and of course, Liverpool still on top of the Barclay's Premier League table! worst highlights? fuck them. not worth looking back ain't it?

scoring a lot of goals during an almost four hours of street soccer and two successful wins by Liverpool, nothing beats my week better than that. massive goal gap by Liverpool earlier during tonight's Super Sunday clash with Newcastle United. five to one. skipper Gerrard scored twice, Hypia, Babel and Alonso all with one each. Robbie Keane wasn't included in the line-up to my surprise despite of the return of his scoring touch in recent matches against Arsenal and Bolton. what's better is Fulham tied Chelsea with a draw which results in Liverpool being three points ahead of them on top of the table. a very delightful occassion to end the EPL 2008 season. yippee!

just got back from an exciting football moment eventhough i personally had a bad game. bad form in the football term. that's what i get from lack of actual playing. maybe the pair of footie boots im wearing at the moment is also a factor because i was using Alim's last two weeks and it felt good everytime the ball was on my feet. accuracy and shot power was also better unlike today. i know what to spend on my next allowance now and why was the game exciting? simply because everyone was there. those long lost ones like Bak, Nabil, Andre, Sahlan and such. despite being hugely outnumbered by opposition team, i guess it's okay to consider we had a good game.

last night, one of the greatest moment of my life with my dearest. it was officially one year we're together after the clock stroke twelve on 18th December 2008. first anniversary as how it preffered to be called. as of right now i think i have the best girlfriend in the world. she did so much for the anniversary comparing to mine. thank you very much sayang for the beautiful night and those wondrous gifts. i almost cried infront of her while watching the video she made together. terharu. i love you so much and i love you more than anything now.

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

the First Big Dixhuit as i like to call it was spent with dinner at Ideal OGDC where we officially first met. historical. i was on duty for OGDC Livewire Carnival and she came to accompany Deedee. i remember she had a much longer hair back then. he eyelashes were as spiky as they are until this day but that's what caught my attention at first; her pretty eyes. yummy. anyway, we went over to her place after that since there were no other places to go and the weather wasn't that promising. at her place, we had photoshoot!

SENYUMAN RAGAMU

and to make things better, the girlfriend got a marvelous result for her final examination. the result came out on the same day of our anniversary and she is now officially a HND holder. certificate saja baum kluar. hehe. congratulations Love! you did it!

had a very shocking phone call on last Wednesday's lunch hour from Abang Haris. my dad was involved in a road accident. i didn't know the real situation back then because my mom told me not to worry and just continue going to classes when i called her. i couldn't help but to simply because it's my own flesh and blood who got involved. my mind went all over the place the whole bloody day and got worse after i saw the car my dad used on a towing truck. subahanallah. it was so severely damaged. syukur Alhamdulillah to Allah almighty my dad is okay. he's currently having a total of eleven stitches on the head and some backaches. it doesn't matter if the car is gone as long as my dad is still alive and he is now alive and kicking! hehe i love you Babah.

i heard Nena is back but she's nowhere to be found since i don't know how exactly to contact her. im not sure which number she currently use and stuff. so Nen if you read this. CONTACT ME! lama ku nda jumpa kau.

Easily I've Seen So Much

what an upset. Liverpool and Hull City's match at Anfield ended in a draw isn't really up to my expectation considering how good they played in the last two matches. ok, maybe set plays weren't that good but they still scored well and won in the end. i was really hoping for the Champions League magic to happen when Gerrard equalised after being two goals down. didn't happen. well, at least they didn't lose. and fantastic goals too. let's just hope Chelsea won't pull us down to second place on the Premier League again after their match against West Ham tommorow and much to my surprise, i didn't hear any 'You'll Never Walk Alone' chants tonight. it was always there even though the KOP was on the verge of losing.

other side of the note. went to Miri last Friday. too lazy to come along at first but thinking about Starbucks... man, how craving was i so i decided to just go. considering how financially broke i am at the moment, i didn't get myself anything from Miri. just dine in foods into me belly. ordered Caramel Machiatto plus Black Forest for afternoon drink at Starbucks. i don't think they have White Mocha around Asian chains since it wasn't available when i went to Kuala Lumpur last December as well. nevertheless, Caramel Machiatto is always the second in line. i love how beautifully constructed and designed the cafe. warm and cozy. just so much i need.

AFTERNOON COFFEE

last Tuesday.. i think. i dont quite remember what day it was but it was 9th December. the girlfriend brought Dee all the way up to Bandar to celebrate her 22nd Birthday. the birthday cake surprise at Ahan Thai was a success even though it was kind of last minute. wrong cake chosen by yours truly btw. haha. the rest of the night was spent on Transporter 3 and late night tea at TK Cafe. pardon the bad photo quality. i am yet to know how to adjust the camera with dark shots.

we sang that song during the last Discovery Camp as a farewell gift to Dillah. this year, they sang it again as perfarewell to the OGDC Survival Science Camp participants plus other sad songs to add which in result in teardrops to each and every one of them. i was only available to attend during the last two days of the camp due to my other commitance. i must say everyone in the committee did a very good job. i can see it was a very tiring by looking at the increase in duration to 5 days 4 nights and number of participants by few hundreds as well. it's good to see some familliar faces from previous camps who are the likes of Mui, Baby Roy, Izzat, Don as well as others. it was the last for some of them. thank you very much for being such loyal participants. well done OGDC!

OGDC DECEMBER CAMP CLOSING CEREMONY

the much awaited OTPS Away Day finally took place just two days before the start of new term. this is intended to celebrate our good performance during the last term. the event took place at Dynasty Restaurant during lunchtime. congratulations to the award receipiants Stanley, Best Academic Student; Daus, Best Overall Student and yours truly for Best Leader. and bloody hell. i lost my voucher. ah gila eh. time kapih2 cemani ani wah ya ilang. pfffft. i was actually hoping for some Dim Sum but nah, too full to do so with all the pre-ordered dishes.

on personal side of note, i just got a molar removed. the last time i had a tooth operation was like more than a decade ago. surprisingly there wasn't much to be scared about about teeth removal. rare occassion occured in the process which im too busy to tell what is it.

the third term is going to be such a struggle from what i can see since the start of it. we're studying a Degree Level of Chemistry from what is informed by one of our seniors. gosh, no wonder it made me feel like an inflated balloon. all empty inside during classes. really need super extra hardwork on this.

just got back from buying lunch with dad. Chicken king is such a 'cekik darah'. had a new haircut earlier. im having massive hairloss lately it seems. "your hair become nipis oredi" said the hairdresser. must be because of my dad's genes. not that i blame him. it was my fault for never taking good care of my hair during my early days. consequenses. hmphffff. i should go for some hair treatment soon. im old =(

we are on a long holiday now before the start of Third Term at ITB on a Full-Time basis. this will also mark my official step down from leadership throne. not that i dont want to be a leader. i just want everyone to experience being one. practice the responsibilities, maintain discipline and all (i know i wasnt that discipline either heh). as mentioned by Mr Jasni, leadership is one of the criteria we must have to become a good plant operator so i say, "why not let everyone start training the ability now?" anyways, goodluck to Najib, leader at ITB and Hakeem, leader in Nazira.

looks like someone will not go bling bling for quite sometime. Mr Nazi had a badly unusual experience during lunch somewhere around this week i forgot exactly when. Alhamdulillah no one injured badly except Apis who had his neck injury further painful later on that day. as you can see. no back window there. all shattered. jubur nya bebalah as well. down right picture are the mangsa keadaan and to the left is the mangsa yang paling malang. kesian tiang. rubuh. nda dapat kraja lagi sebagai tukang bediri. i believe Nazi has the whole story in his blog. best highlight. dinner at Excapade with some of the guys. quite a lot made it. thank you very much. we had a few first timers. first times are normal if your food doesnt taste nice. similar to myself i had to go few times there to find the right dishes which i found heavenly. these are the dishes which i meant.

man, i've been eating numerously for the past three days. barbeque lamb chop (steak?) for lunch made by the Love, chicken chop with white sauce and jacket potatoe made by mom, garlic rice chicken rice... WHO WOULD RESIST THOSE! it's actually okay but eating 3 times perday for 3 days straight is very much a huge concern for me. im a heavyweight and my body size changes like baloon. to increase is easy but to decrease... it's like waiting for Robbie Keane's firat premier league goal for Liverpool. speaking of Liverpool, a good match. Just lack of luck to end things with goalless draw in the 90 minutes. frustration.

was playing around with the camera last night. just learned how to master the manual focus on Pogram AE mode. not so mastered anyhow but... okaylah~baru jua start berjinak-jinak.

CANON AND FOSSIL

training has been such a bore for the most of this week. both our supervisors were busy with invigilating our seniors' examination. our classroom was used for loads of functions and meetings as well so we ended up with watching educational videotapes in the Electrical Room. tapi most of the time menalur jua lah kami since the videotapes weren't that long. lucky there were Rubik's Cube and Link-Unlink puzzles to occupie some of our time.

a number of my OGDC colleagues are on their way towards good career. all these times i've been worried about these guys. im very very delighted to hear the good news during my visit yesterday. oh, Tessa is back in OGDC. a previous part-timer to become Liza's replacement from what i heard. first Mop, then Tessa... who's next? Liza and Helmi dropped by as well. we all miss Liza. OGDC is so 'something missing' without Liza and Lim around. well, things change.

yesterday, went to Bandar with Si Pacarku. dont ask me about that look on my face.

it was a short date. from 10am til 2pm. went to QQstore. something wrong with the item i ordered. then lunched at some Hong Kong restaurant at Kiulap Plaza. i ordered some cheese rice with chicken chop i think and it was heaven~ the dimsums are bigger comparatively in size from other restaurants. after lunch, stopped by DST carnival. just in the car plang since time was not on my side. had to do something in KB. alot of people there by the way. seems fun but yeah, maybe next time.

later on that night, we had a BBQ gathering at Dillah Jeng's place to celebrate his advanced happy birthday which is today. went there with the love and Daleya. there were few missing faces but still we all had fun. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENG! you can see how happy he is in the picture above. he's the one in pink btw.

as you can see. perlawanan yang tidak dapat dielakkan berlangsung lagi between me and Erwan. whenever we compete with each other, it's always a draw after 90 minutes. that happened again during our first match but i won in extra time. the second match, finally, my Valencia won over his Liverpool. score settled. til next time! yaaha!

Alhamdulillah. i achieved all Merits for my 2nd-term part time at ITB. what excites me the most is the improvement in Mathematics. from just pass last term to Merit. that is considered quite an achievement considering how not good i am in Math. anyway, the 2nd term is a very tiring term. i thought maybe it's only 3 days in ITB it wouldn't be but situation proved me wrong. frequent travelling from KB to Bandar really downgrades not only my energy but the fuel consumption affected me financially as well.

quite alot of things happened during the part-time life. here are some made it to the visuals.

sedang aku and Radhi concentrating belajar sambil menyanyi kerana gembira, ada tia Papparazi. nda ku tau lah if PANDArazzi ataupun PUCUNGrazi yang ambil gambar kami. in the end, merasa durang meliat jari maut ku sama gigi si Radhi.

went to visit OGDC yesterday. our class ended early at BLNG so i thought why not stop by for a little while after so long. Mop, yang kaki motor and also our previous attachment student is back employed as a part timer to my surprise. welcome back! it was also Helmi's last day at OGDC. he got a new courier to pursuit at AMTUR or something. Tommy has also been working there recently but on a different post. congratulations to you both and best of luck you guys!

no OGDC Livewire Carnival this year it seems but instead, they do have Science Festival at Temburong as replacement... and guess what? OGDC SURVIVAL SCIENCE IS COMING UP THIS DECEMBER! it will be a 5 days 4 nights event as pre-planned. after taking a look programme, i must say quite a lot of interesting activities and games which i have not heard of. definitely those kind of things i'd like to attend and see. unfortunately the event clash with the start of our third-term which is full-time at ITB. maybe i'll try to find some time and come for a little visit. a little bit of history, previously this year end camp was called Discovery Camp and it brought a lot of memories. memories such as this.

the best ogdc batch ever! there were a lot of us. everyone was one. i remember it was Dillah's last day on attachment. my first time being an emcee which was very shaky but the more better than other events. i also just got transferred to Education Section. Adib and Haji Limin were still new by then. we also got very active and a little crazy volunteers. Roslan masih rambut panjang. Liza and Lim was still around... man, OGDC really was different back then in a lot of ways. it was more like a a very big second family. i dont really know how things are since i left but everything seems to be doing fine except for quite a number of people i worked with have now moved on tapi Si Nijam lah yang masih kabal stay disana and.. yeah, whatever happened to the cinema ah?

ADIDAS have been working on a number of very inspirational videos called 'Impossible is Nothing' which features athlete of different sports. i've been watching these videos for the past few days. there's this one about Lionel Messi and it goes like this...

as a young boy, Messi had problem growing up due to some failure in his growth hormone. he had to get injection on both his legs every night for three years straight. the rest, just watch the video.

this is another one about Kaka. eight years back, the Brazillian playmaker had a broken vertebrate which is considered a nightmare to any living human as you might get permanent paralyzation. this video is about setting goals and achieving them.

it's not just about achieving this kind of thing in football. it's about implementing them on your life like how to not give up and how satisfying it is to finally achieve your goals after a lot of hard work. do a bit of research of you are no a football fan and a bit lost. it's worth it =)

and so finally Liverpool lost it's first match of the season. tough blow to take for the one week only on top of the table but it's okay. let's just hope this will be a boost for the upcoming matches. look at Chelsea, they lost against us, the next thing you know they go to the field and win big for two matches straight. nevertheless, El Nino is coming back and Liverpool still in my heart. YNWA!

didnt watch the match by the way. aher wah. was feeling all tired due to not enough sleep and rest. had hard time sleeping at Nazira i dont know why. probably because of the recent uncomfortability of the bed. plus i had a flu attack to worsen things. im now okay and safe to eat durians.. which i did a while ago. slurps!

as promised, the my this year's second birthday story. it was actually an Away Day at Pizza Hut plan by them Daus since the promised Away Day to celebrate our good first term performance by BLNG has not come for so long now. as we were enjoying the foods ordered all of a sudden there was this Pizza Hut Stuff band marching with a birthday cake. i just sang along because i thought maybe it was some other table having a birthday surprise since there were alot of kids there but then... ALL EYES WERE ON ME! kali banar, dangan muka yang bangang, the cake with 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY OTPS' was put infront of me. so i called everyone to blow the candle and cut the cake together. there were like 3 or 4 songs performed by the staff. quite a long wait. anyway, thanks a lot you guys for making that one memorable moment not only for me but for everyone. i had fun. a Happy Belated Birthday to OTPS 2008 Intake. too bad Suresh, Stanley and Hasril didnt tag along. Jasni and Wong as well. the cake was nice.

morale of the story:
never sit at the middle far end of the table during the next Away Day.

it's been raining crazy for the past few days. a very tiring experience travelling up and down the road by driving slow to play safe. the rain poured down very heavily most of the time to the extend that it was a blurry vision as it hit the windscreen. so to those who are driving, be safe on the road. being late for something is nothing compared to your life being gone fast.

presentation test yesterday went pretty well. a very promising mark achieved. was feeling a little bit shaky. nervous. probably because i havent been giving presentation for such a long time. no one failed. props to everybody!

with the switching off of cucul at the end of my open house, my part of Hari Raya is officially done. it was as meriah as every previous years except that it ended much earlier. last year it ended somewhere approaching dawn and as for last night, it wasn't even midnight yet.

2 MANCHESTER CITY vs LIVERPOOL 3

i was so not in the mood to watch the match. was exhausted from rayaing the whole day and Liverpool was already two goals down so decided to just go to bed after on the phone with the love. then my dad shouted "SERI! SERI!" immediately jumped off the bed from being very half-dead asleep to watch it til the final minute. props to Kuyt for the heroic stoppage time goal and Torres with the double. im in so much hype and hard to go back to sleep at the moment.

Raya so far has been great. first day was just like the previous years. it was all about the families. second day, pun sama. all about being couch potato at home waiting for visitors. third day, yesterday's was a bit fucked but i rather not mention why but then, things were fun with ex-SMSA schoolmates later on that night. oh except aku tegelungsur arah tangga rumah si Maria. sober. haha =s i am so getting a new pair of slippers soon. i still love the slippery-slipper though. the first ever gift from Si Jantung Hati x)

fourth day, Sunday, spent my whole day with the Love at her place.she was having an open house. so many people came, mostly her family members and i was blank. haha. we did find space and time going to our friend's house nearby. nda sampat convoi with them Aiman since they were stucked on a heavy traffic due to the road accident.

so many road accidents during this raya and most of them lead to heavy traffics. to dear readers, please drive safely. going too fast and careless is a no pointer. rumah urang nda lari tu. nda dapat hari ani, isok-isok pun buleh. nda dapat isok-isok, taun dapan pun buleh. cuba imagine, sudah accident, ada long traffic, mun urang yang emergency kan beria abis wah tu tekirit dalam krita. kesian. so, please, drive safe. love your life. if you dont, somebody else does. dont just think twice, think wise. dont kill your brother. chill.

finally watched Ayat-Ayat Cinta last night on DVD which i've been keeping for like a month or so now. i am a very delay person when it comes to DVDs. it was a very good movie about love, Islam and "perempuan-perempuan indah" heh. a very sad one as well. i almost cried on certain parts. a very sensitive person i am you see. so, anyway watch it if you haven't. 9 stars out of 10... kenapa Maria mesti mati ='(

Forever We See "Us" Not "You and Me"

taken by the girlfriend's brother using his newly bought Nikon D80 while watching Manchester vs Bolton on tv. it kinda look like the DST Broadband advert thingy. in my opinion at least. anyway, nice shot!

and so i was at the girlfirend's place watching premier league with her family. despite of unwell previous match against Stoke City, Liverpool won an away 2-nil victory tonight against Merseyside rival, Everton. beautiful cross by Keane which landed perfectly on Nando's feet for the volley and massive blast inside the box once again by the Spaniard few minutes later to complete the two goals which also ended his goal draught. well done Mighty Reds! YNWA.

it was pretty hard cause it seems i was the only KOP supporter under the roof. i stayed further to watch Manchester United's match and they won with the same scoreline as well. Berbatov finally shone compared with his previous matches. Rooney ended his goal draught too. good assist by Christiano Ronaldo with the backheel and Rooney ended it up with a bang into the net for the second goal.

1 MARSEILLE vs LIVERPOOL 2

another match. another win. this time, Gerrard did the magic with two goals scored. i watched the highlight on footytube.com and wow, what an equalizer by Gerrard from 25-Yard. as the commentator said "only Steven Gerrard can do that" and i certainly agree. i see it's very hard for Torres to score nowadays due to the aggressive marking by defenders of every opponents. then i was watching Manchester United vs Villareal last night due to the excitement if Christiano Ronaldo's return. pikirtah banyak goal. draw jua nganya.

today mark complete nine months together with the love. 9th Dixhuit as we like to call it. Happy Ninth Monthasary love.

sent Helmi to the airport last night. nda ramai urang pun. so many changes at the airport. they have Jolibee and Delifrance now. even Bodyshop. Qayyum's flight will be later on tonight. Erman's will be on 20th and i think i forgot to send Hakim. bloody. Pij texted me about sungkai together with SMSA mates this Friday. i dont think i can make it since i'll still be in Bandar and there's school the next morning. i can actually make it but i cant promise anything because Miss Siti has the tendency to give short tests every week it seems. hah. very sacrificial life it is.

BABEL OWNS! didn't get to watch the match last night. had a "makan-makan" at nenek's place and there was ASTRO with NO sports channel subscribed so.. yeah. i did get the girlfriend to watch it for me though since she herself is a fan of the counterpart (i told you baju Man U bida) it was such a delightful feeling regarding the result. for the first time in five years Liverpool has finally beaten Manchester United. it also marked a good debut match for Albert Riera. not so good for Berbatov. Nemanja Vidic got sent off. Torres and Gerrard were fit to play but played safe by being kept at the bench as subs. Christiano Ronaldo availability was a complete false alarm. ambil golen boot adalah pulang ya. penipu banar Alex Ferguson ani or maybe a mistranslation over the word 'fit to play' in my early dictionary. so anyway, it was a great night for the KOP and im still waiting for the repeat show. Ramadhan is finally here. happy fasting to all muslimin and muslimah. may we have a successful ramadhan and blessed by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. amin.

every Ramadhan is different. last year i was still a newbie at OGDC. fasting there was fun. kinda spoiled which i have to admit. back then, there weren't that much challenge. i remember i went to Explo most of the time helping Jul with Lemang Paper Mache for Hari Raya decoration since there were that much visitors in the Exhibition Hall. this year, i expect it to be tougher due to life as a trainee. gonna do loads of travelling and brand new subjects to adapt this upcoming new Part-Time term. Part-Time: Tuesday & Wednesday at BLNG; Thursday, Friday & Saturday at ITB.

3 aims this Ramadhan. first, no gaps in between. second, lose more weight with proper diet. third and the most important, reduce, or if possible, stop smoking. i even made some kind of bet with Azman by which $10 goes to him everytime i go for more than 5 cigarettes per day (current situation: a pack for 2 days). on his side will be eating habit in same amount of payment.

many friends and relatives who are on scholarhip will also be leaving to continue their studies this Ramdhan. hope i'll get to send all of them this time unlike last year. i forgot to ask Farah about her flight.

2 LIVERPOOL - MIDDLESBROUGH 1

not a good match by Liverpool last Saturday night i must say. Boro defenders did a good job with holding back both Torres and Keane up front. i dont think putting Torres and Keane together is a good idea. Liverpool were just completely lost during the first half and early second half. Mido scored the opening goal of the match, shocking Anfield. The Reds didn't give up however. props to Liverpool Captain and Vice-Captain; Steve and Jamie for the two late goals. YNWA!

we finally get the taste of the whole BLNG plant last Wednesday. it wasn't a good day to begin with. i left my pass at home, only realising about it once i arrived at BLNG. i had to go back all the way to KB or else i cant get through the secuirity. not enough with that, the key to my locker where my helmet is kept was missing and still is unfound. early morning stress, overheat weather causes dehydration due to profusional sweating. not good. things went pretty well at the plant. so much to tell, so much to explain going from one equipment to another in the Utilities section and i am lazy to do so. except for our last destination, the LNG storage tank. cilakak. tinggi wah. it was like.. what? double or triple height of The Mall and we had to walk up the stairs to reach the top. considering of such a heavyweight i am, i had to stop halfway for a rest. plus i cant just leave Suresh, who was having leg cramp, behind. by the time the both of us reached the top, the rest were about to go back down.

right after the whole day plant visitation, we played Street Soccer against Lumut Team at LLRC.

first footie after almost a month! i must say, this is the best match i ever played. everything cliqued and we scored hell a lot of goals. felt less tired comparing with other matches i've been. ampus pun skajap saja. probably because of the stamina boost due to the whole day at the plant. it was a good match. we had fun. rugi siapa yang malas sampai nda jadi main hari atu. thanks to the set up by team mates i get to score a few number of goals. hehe.

and it's all about Ajis. haha. on the right one is about them Mijan waiting for Ajis's arrival at the Bachelor, sleepless, until 3AM in the morning but Ajis went straight home after footie and forgot to text them ia nda jadi. adaka patut. on the left.. originally pasal ia pangsai and how to turn his shit into a futuristic bio-fuel thingy. antah cemana buleh jadi cematu but it's okay. bah Jis. bila deh belanjanya? =x

btw, i passed the first term! yay! result was unexpected with one distinction and a merit. the rest were just passes. i seriously thought i would be having resits since i didnt do well during the exam. nevertheless, Alhamdulillah. a lot of things to do for improvement next term.

had a family function earlier today at my place. it was fun with all the family members around. simple but meriah. i like that. anyway, we are currently back in BLNG since last week for further training with our co-supervisor, Mr Wong, learning about Process side of Operation. just had our first test on last Thursday. alhamdulillah it went well. i was scared as shit that it made me skip invited dinner with girlfriend's family the night before. once again there's a competition between me and Jay... with a little 'unfair' played by me. haha. it felt kinda bad though.

my love, take my breath away

it was the girlfriend's birthday yesterday 15/08. we had a dinner date at Bucaneers. it wasnt anything that fancy. no surprise marching band singing happy birthday song from the back. no classical fireworks. nothing romantic like the candle lights. it was all about co-existance of the two of us on a very special day... and i was broke so, thank you for the treat sayang. i love you so much. mwah! haha you were looking very lovely last night =)

ordered the Mixed Grill. it has boneless chicken, beef steak, egg and sausage on it. not bad. the girlfriend's looked much more yummier though. something with lamb. i'd still go for Charcoalthough. the foods here got cold pretty fast.

congratulations to Ayam for being accepted as Brunei Methanol Company Operative Technician Trainee. such a coincidence it is about me, Piyoy and Ayam. Piyoy, my first friend ever is now an Operative Technician Trainee at BSP. Ayam, my high school bestfriend at BMC and myself at BLNG.. quite funny when you think about it though. congratulations to Hazwan Rio as well for recent engagement with his beloved. i just found out about it while browsing through facebook.com... so many things happening in KB when i was barely around. sigh.

had our last examination last Thursday and my god, i think im going to resit one of the papers =( hopefully no one resits any though. amin. we're starting our next semester at BLNG starting this monday until the end of the month. i was hoping for a longer break as what we were told before the changes which was 15/08 will be the start. ahhh.. nevermind.

plans for today.. probably going to cut my hair later and go to them Mijan's Bachelor for a little hangout. maybe some beach soccer-ing with the OT's as well.

only four days left to the end of our first full time semester at ITB. going to sit for our first real examination this tuesday starting off with Math. better put super extra effort on that. probably start my revision this afternoon since i just woke up and not feeling that fresh yet. next after Math would be ME Workshop written test and lastly Technical Drawing. hope i'll do well. wish me luck.

why so serious?

no doubt the very best movie i ever watched so far. very few movies make me all speechless and completely attentive. this movie was one of them and instantly made it on the top of my list. Joker seem overshadowed Batman in the movie. better than previous Batman movies, Joker on Dark Knight is the most sadistic. Heath Ledger did an amazing job cause playing as The Joker is so not easy. he did it very effectively in potraying the funny yet very heartless villain of Batman. if Heath Ledger is still alive, all the movie awards trophies definitely has his name readily engraved by now. enough said, this movie is a FUCKING ACE!!!

i think im gonna give this movie another watch.

went to Charcoal with the girlfriend for this month's payday. despite of the gigantic price paid for the foods ordered, it was still very worthy. besides there were two side orders that came. so, no complains. and they tasted nice even.

ahhh well, she hated the Pinacolada. that's why the picak face. haha. i dont blame her though. it wasn't that nice. it was far beyond how very tasty the actual Pinacolada i tasted back in Oman and Dubai.

food ordered. the before and after sequence. mine, lambchop with fragnanted rice and mashed potatoe. hers, half chicken honey with fries and potatoe salad.

it has been quite a reminiscing week for me. went to the SMSA gathering last Friday night. it felt nice. i had fun. you know, with everyone once again at one place. just like the old times. joking around, remebering about the past and discussing about amphibians... yeah. i had to go early that night since i have a presentation test the next day. when i reached home, everything about that night reminded me about something like these kind of pictures.

ahhhhh~ those were the days and oh, Nabil made the best Carbonara ever that night. Didah too with, maybe, the Tiramisu cake... it tasted coffe-ish so that must be it. heh. i think i need to start cooking and baking again. jelous ku. huhu. oh no, i forgot to get the pictures from Nabil. isuk tah if ya skulah.

i went to OGDC earlier today to catch the SkateComp. congratulations to Farihanali Brothers, Bam as Runner-Up and Dini as the Brunei Open Champion. Dini did a bloody 360 flip down and that was some crazy shit mate. Bam got bloody from falling down then he go crazy shit in the second round. haha. good to see the old faces again on the ramps, KB legends i call them, the likes of Awang, Mali, Mamat, Adi and all. click Iskandar on my link list for pictures from the event. for the note, Si Bam bukan champion tu ah. ya wakil saja. heh.

doing research for my English Presentation slides.chosen HRSG Unit-5100 as topic of choice since i've done that during my one month training at BLNG. having ddifficulties with exact pictures of HRSG found at BLNG as well as the proper process flow. i cant do probably around 90% of effective explaination without the process flow diagram. probably i'll get it from Mr MJ.

so Miri yesterday was great. had fun with the girlfriend there and i got myself one of these

well, that's the Sean John Unforgivable Eau De Toilette with After Shave box set. had a hard time in choosing between this and the super classy Fossil watch. no regrets though. the smell is definitely up to what i want and i smell like P.Diddy now. i think.

HELLBOY 2! it was a good movie. i mean, even the bad guy was actually a good guy. had a great company as well who was screaming very cutely out loud pasal tekajut lol im not gonna say who =x very funny movie. loads of action. the Death was cool. i give it 8 out of 10 and an additional half points for having the song as you can hear right now on my blog. i cant~smile~without~you~

had our Engineering Drawing Phase Test 1 earlier this afternoon. missed a lot of part especially dimensioning on the first question. the second one was surprisingly very easy that it was completed in less than 10 minutes! i spent so much time planning on something which doesnt really require a lot of thinking in the first question. well, i wasn't the only one at least. let's hope i'll do better in the next one this 22nd. there will also be another test of which subject title i am not sure of this monday. it's going to be theoritical test on Lathe and Milling.

Pijah texted me on the SMSA gathering at Beb's place next Friday night. haven't replied her text yet =x probably i'll come not for long since, well, maybe, i'll be having an exam the next day.

going to Miri tommorow. it's been such a long while since the last. the girlfriend is joining as well since she need to get something. that means, im going to miss football. argh.

looks like i still have this smoking issue which im trying to reduce. well, infact, i did reduce it not long ago up but starting fresh again at school after months of working kinda make it an unavoidable option for stress relief. i kinda like the new rule set up by the goverment. it resulted me in absolute no smoking in public. that would be a lie actually but at least i smoke at hidden places away from public eyes.

how i turned to a heavy smoker? it all began when my parents set me free with my smoking habit, of course with their hope of me to quit. still, i dont like smoking in front of my parents. quite simply because i've seen them seen me smoke face to face and somehow i can see the disappointment on their faces. trust me, that is the guiltiest thing i ever felt. so eversince, i smoke away from their eyes despite of my freedom to do the otherwise. whenever im with them, i control with very best effort. even when im with the girlfriend. i used to smoke infront of her since she doesnt restrict me from doing so but something inside me tells me that it's not a good thing. ahhh, ciggarettes. when will i be able to refuse you...

it's already a month plus we're in itb. didn't realise it's been that long.

congratulations to those included in the ITB intake-24 list. i can see familiar names the likes of Nehai Gundai, Faza, Erwan, Andre etc. also congratulations to Hj Limin for the acception to MTSSR and Maria as well who i believe will get the OTTS after medical check result comes out. so many people are leaving OGDC soon but i worry not since the rest can still take care of everything. plus there were several new guys just got hired part time and attachment. welcome to the family you guys. take all the chance to learn everything while you are still there.

watched Hancock with the girlfriend and it was good. except i was expecting the movie to be about this one lousy yet cool hero from start to finish instead of sad scenes near the end. still, i give it a five star. one not good thing, the girlfriend just got sick and it got worse after the movie. still she was so willing to spend the day with me =) get well soon love<333
