well, a very good morning it is. had a very good sleep after more than a week of almost not sleeping. a very good day indeed. the Young Leaders Camp just ended yesterday. it was great. i have to admit though that i wasn't that proactive for this camp. thanks to my somewhat co-chairperson for doing almost every tasks and that includes some from my side. she's doing very well for a newcomer. bright future is in her hand. speaking of my not that proactive issue, i dont know, i just got tired that easily. maybe because of my health. yes. i have gained some more weight. probably due to lack of jogging and footie few weeks before the camp. oh well, a lot of lesson learned from the Young Leaders Camp. improvements to come on the next.
anyway, the camp was still great all in all. OGDC Young Leaders Programme was made for prefects and monitors of SMPJN students. good to see Mui, Adri, Haziq, Izzat, regular OGDC campers were also in. we stayed at OBBD Batang Duri, Temburong base for a 2 days 1 night activities. first night wasn't that much. just ice breaking, teambuilding, setting up tents and all those stuffs. second day was when the fun started. the students get to enjoy Flying Fox, Water Confidence, Rafting/Kayaking and some rock climbing activity which im not sure of what it is called. the Rafting/Kayaking was the most funny part. ada yang tersangkut, ada yang miles tertinggal, ada yang nda cukup angin where we had to call them for a refill in the middle of the river (i was on the scouting boat) all the activities looked fun. probably i'll give them a try when i dropped some more weight. damn that Flying Fox weight limit. heh. and i got a souvenier in the form of beautiful sceneries, fresh air, cool not so deep river and a long cut on my sole from the nature.
after done in Temburong, the rest of the camp was done in OGDC. first upon arrival at the Big Top gave me the 'ahhhhh~home~proper shower, proper bed... smoke! smoke! smoke!' feeling. back in OBBD, it was a total non-smoking area, so, yeah. later on that night... jadi tia Iskandar ani kan membuat Follow The Leader. i was half of the focal point aside from Maria and i was late for it but it's okay, as long as i came there and did quarter part of the job. Maria and the rest worked on 3 quarter of it. it was a success. i continued staying at OGDC for night watch until 2 in the morning then felt asleep with bite marks all over. agas wah agas. the third day i attended the 2 motivational talks. one by Haji Kamaludin and another by Steve Livewire. very good stuffs to be applied on life. afternoon, the controversial War Game. at night, Blind Shape, Amoeba Race and Ball Run Tech Challenge. the rest of the night was spent on random stuffs like this Jual Beli Song thingy, Musical Chair and yes, of course, sleep. everyone was out of energy even from the committee side ourselves.
final day, a motivational talk by Faizal. he was good. very good for someone below the marrying age to give such talk on stage. the participants also get to do the Egg Drop which was somewhat similar to the cancelled OBBD Egg machine. then in the afternoon, Closing Ceremony. a very simple one which includes group presentation by each team. after that, memanyap, kana belasah uleh Faizal on Winning Eleven, balik rumah, mandi, hooray, tidur.
Quinze called me in the middle of the glorious sleep. kacau. haha. we were supposed to meet up later for lunch but she needs to do a lot of revision for tommorow's exam. good luck sayang and now i need to send her the morning text. masih terstuck arah outbox ah. bloody hell.
by the way
this is my longest post in months!
i finally made it! woohoo!
