my gosh ... what in the blue hell EXACTLY did we have last night? haha let's just say, i'll consider it as an upgraded version of Switchfest 2006. it was like a mixture of rave party + rock band gigs. so all in all. everyone in different genres had their time.

im still half dead and having a whiplash over excessive amount of headbanging to our main event band, [H8] and wow, now i know why they have such top class reputation in Brunei. coming out as only a four piece band, playing familiar numbers such as Play and Puke plus new songs which i believe will be featured in their next album. their great showmanship style is something very educative.

first band of the night was Sweet Memory. as usual, these guys play songs which i always consider as beautiful. they featured Aiman Buaya on vocals who finally got a chance to show his full potential and as a result, it was an A plus. also they got Neurofin's own WaniCola on piano for Warmness On The Soul, originally performed by Avenged Sevenfold. Wani's amazing talent is long known to us. she needs more exposure. the other songs were Oasis's Don't Go Away and ... one song which seems to be quite popular but not that known to me. heh.

second was Megalith aka Ifrit Megalith if im not mistaken. playing a 20 minutes medley. i watched these guys performed back in the early days. they're still that great, improved and certainly improving. Fatah is still my favourite in that band. amazing bass scaling skills.

third was Fallen. wuuuuuhuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!! \m/ they freaking played SANTERIA!!! my favourite freaking mfikiaijaidj song!!! haha that was the first time stepping myself on the dancefloor, doing crappy dancing and sing a longs and fuck ... how could i not remember the lyrics anymore =( they also performed Nickelback's Far Away and one more which i have forgotten ... hey im still half dead ok. haha and as always, the best band of the night. oh hell, they're best band of ANY night.

next, yours truly, Glasshearts aka Glass Heart Rabbits and shit, we did the riot again. haha. we played Panic! At The Disco's I Write Sins Not Tragedies (featuring Sepol on drums, which i sort of screwed up a bit due to lack of pressure) Paramore's My Heart (featuring the amazing Farah) and of course, our new prom night anthem, Straylight Run's Existentialism On Prom Night ... oh wait, that's not all. we played ... no, no, THE SWITCHFEST CROWD made us play Fall Out Boy's Sugar We're Going Down, where the riot started under courtesy of Sepol and Kam coming up on stage, shuffling and stage dives. thanx a lot you guys. we love you people.

then it was 4L's turn to play catchy medleys. amazing stuffs and last before [H8] was Louey's band kicking up beautiful melodies on the guitars Joe Satriani style.

no pictures taken on personal cameras and not that much photos taken on the other cameras too. i remember i had so many picture taking request with a lot of people but sorry ... =( only managed to have actual photo sessions with DeeDee<333 and fellow GHr.

enormous amount of congratulations to Aiman Buaya and CJ for being crowned as the Gala Night 2006's Prom King and Queen. WOOT!!! looks like Aiman's $500 suit isn't really such a waste eh? haha

and wow, i freaking danced to techno music .. wait ... that wasn't even a dance but hey, just an amateur here, what can i say. haha. Nena, next time, i'll freaking pull you to a moshpit. biar ko. sapa suruh pajal aku menari arah dance floor. nyehah~

After 5 years San Diego-based band Finch broke up. Though the official homepage speaks of taking a break for undetermined time, the wording suggests that there will be no new material from Finch in the near or far future.

The debut "What it is to burn" was very popular among Pop-Punk/Pop-core fans, last years "Say Hello to Sunshine" changed the sound of the band though.

whew~ the orientation is finally over! huurra! my apologies on behalf of the whole crew to the juniors for the unintended technical errors made during the 3 days event. we tried our very best to not let such things happened but hey, every roses has it's thorn ... yea =D and thank god it's only for 3 days. i have no idea how our seniors could handle it for 5 freaking days last year and 60% less error than ours. amazing people *clap clap*

congratulations to Alif Long Nails and Aminah for being selected as 2006 Orientation King and Queen. also big claps to teh Orientation Prince and Princess whose names are not known to me. ganbate~

was supposed to go to bandar with them Rafie at 2pm but there's no chance in every sort of dimensional enviroment i would miss the orientation's last day. they're probably screaming their heart out at the national stadium right now. haha.

so up next, will be Gala Night's turn. please help us to boost the ticket sales since it's like so ... slowpokey right now and it's only less than 3 weeks left. haha. nevermind the fuckups you've been hearing. just come and watch us perform. besides it's not like we always play in smart attires right? nyeh~
