wow. how long has it been since i last update this thing? haha well, my apologies, i had a really busy week or preferably, month with all the rehearsals and pratices and omaigad! the teacher's day event this morning was a blast! (at least for me) altho it didn't come out as perfect as we planned (or they planned) but hey, errors just gotta have to happen.

quite surprising about how well jambri handled the drama's main character. he only rehearsed once eversince nuar got admitted in hospital due to some health problem at the very last minute. nena's role as 'hot-new-teacher' was also hrrrrm .... not bad la haha =P syaza was really awesome with the extra unplanned comedy plots \m/

speaking of drama, there were lots of real-life drama happened during the making. we got miscommunication between group members, car accident to one of our committee crew, the show almost got canceled by the principle because of some bullshit done by irresponsible brats, breakups, make ups and of course, fuck ups. huura!

i was really so very panic for the past two days. first of all, one of najib's thousand dollars speaker was damn screwed and that happened just one day before the real event. due to that, the whole sound system today wasn't that satisfying. then suddenly, earlier today, all the microphones connected to the mixer + one connected to the stage were all fucked up and there were like 4 of them. i was the only one left working on the technical area. two of my partners was busy with something else and i can't just move around leaving the mixer behind. thank god adib and rasdi was there free to help. thanks a lot u guys. u guys are the best. well ... maybe ... haha i want everyone to remind me to think twice before accepting the technical p.a.system job cause it's like, one simple error occured might be fatal to everything. huhu.

it's clear to see that the acoustic band sessions are the ones the crowd desire the most. thumbs up for the bands for the great show especially to sweet memory. the pulled out great numbers, relaku pujuk and neurofin's trademark lol, only one. the crowd was really at their climax by singing along during only one. i was like 'man, where the hell were these people during the prom?' haha i guess roses on my coffin's door plan to play letters to you was canceled. boohoo~ haha

aimee and qawim did a great job interacting with the crowd. especially during late stage entries. grand applauses to yati and najib. they're the ones who really worked hard in making this whole event possible and definitely a success. you guys really are the best.

received super positive feedbacks from the teachers. i guess they really enjoyed it. something fishy about the principal's expression during the whole show. i guess that's why they called him 'mr.demanding'

oh man i just got leg cramp and it damn hurts! well, gotta jet now. tuition.

gah! i didn't get to watch leech's band perform again! sucks! i was about to ask efra to bring us along to holiday lodge where the gig took place but when i think it over, efra work in bandar during the day so most probably he'll just stay there til nite and go straight to the venue. so ... yeah. pretty hard to get transport nowadays. i need to get my official driving liscence as soon as possible.

speaking of driving liscence, i just registered for it yesterday morning. it took me almost a week to finally meet the boss just to get a temporary driving liscence. the previous boss was a bandarian whose schedule was a little bit out of shape. lots of people been complaining about their hard times until they finally change him with a kb-ian yesterday. i think im going to have my driving lesson at asohraya.

what's up with my holidays? nothing much. kinda hectic tho. mostly by frequeant journeys to bandar and miri. only one remarkable day as far as i remember which was during last thursday. we had a picnic somewhere at the back of ogdc. by the way, we refers to me and my buddies. mostly of those who are involved with the teachers' day project. almost everyone was there but most importantly, our good long lost friend, kuroda! was there too! he sure got lots of stories to tell about his migration to bandar. just being the usual him. haha. he wanted to organise a gig which was supposed to take place last night but it turned out negative since he had to go back to bandar last friday for some reason. schnucks! i want to perform! ='( but all in all. the picnic was a BLAST! a megaboomboom blast! ..... ah yea, we played beach football and uhhhh .... i suck at goal keeping =S

i just watched the new final fantasy movie, Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children and it's so uhaoidiaodfkjasjhdjhsajh AWESOME!!! fuck fuck!!! no you wont see anything like the bloody fake ass hollywood final fantasy spirits within! this is the real thing! if this movie was in cinema i guaradamntee you it make 10 times more money in just an hour than what titanic make in one week or what donald trump make in 10 years or even what bill gates make in 15 decades. magnificient graphics. marvelous storyline. seductive music. megafantabulous movie! my more than 2 hours figuring out how to solve the subtitles is definitely worth it. fjjaiokdkjsi. gah! i suggest you guys better watch this movie. just get it from torrent, kazaa, limewire, pirated dvd store or whatever! just get it! it is a must! i give it a 10000000 out of 10!

there was a full teachers day rehearsal yesterday afternoon. it didn't went that smooth. the place (hall) was absolute mess when we arrived. probably because of the khatam quran function which took place earlier that morning. there's something about our headboy that make people feel so uneasy about him. he likes to sort of screw things around. i think maybe that's why our assistant head girl scolded him twice last time. aimee drove all by herself to skool. it was quite funny tho. she had to ask abob to get the parking and reverse thing right. don't kill me~ no~ kakaka rachel injured her toe nail by sexual-harassing my nike sneakers with her feet nyahahah

airholes is performing tonite somewhere in lumut. too bad i can't go due to lack of transportation. damnit. i wanna sing along not cool enough for gadong! =( oh well. maybe next time kay guys. road too small and cars too many~

speaking of performing, i've been craving for one. it has been a while since the last i was semi-serious with music band activities. school is one of the main reason been holding me down from doing so. im thinking of forming a ska band. it's just that i wanna have at least one very commercial-suitable of all ages band. been talking about it to some of my buddies. they all agreed with the idea but the question of who can and will play the trumpet part is ... *sigh* ... anyone?

im currently in shuffle dance fever. it's kinda fun.been learning it from adib. he's really good with it. not as good as izzat tho. izzat mastered the whole damn move! still working on how to transfer from first pace to second *shuffles*

AUDITION FROM STARMAKERS
Starmakers Music Company recording studio are looking for bands! In collaboration with BruBands and Starmakers Music Company, we are going to held auditions every Saturday nights. This includes:

- Live Gig (as part of audition) * we are watching you! :)
- 1 hour slot per band
- No payments required to join this weekly event
- Bands performing will be randomly selected by Brubands
- 3 bands will play per night
- Open to all Brunei bands *Censorship will take place earlier

Those who are selected will be given the opportunity to:

- Get 1 song FREE recording session.
- Your band will be the main priority on any events held by Starmakers Music Company
- One - off promotional deal of song (radio airplays, etc)

Extensions (After careful considerations by the management):

- 3 months probation on succession of the particular band
- Your band will be entitled to sign a recording artist contract
- Initial introductory contract : 1 year
- Upon signing the contract, the band is entitled to get 'fully sponsored' based on recordings, promotions and events towards producing an album (one album per year).
- Based on succession, continuation of contract for 2 years
- Any source of income generated from performances by the band will be given 30% share

TERMS (For auditions):
- Maximum of 5 people per band
- Will take place at Holiday Lodge Hotel "All Sports Cafe" every Saturday nights
- Profiles sent to Brubands together with band picture and lyrics as soon as possible.

HOLY SHIT! I WANT! but ... im not sure if we're fully equipped with experience and skills to win that marvelous offer ... damn ...

so ... hey, im here stuck with my GP project. i didn't know both of us (me and louey) need to write out an essay each to conclude the photo album project. our plan was i get all the materials + printing + binding while louey take care of the description and essay part but ... oh what the hell. she should have told us earlier. looks like IM going to screw up the 10marks for the both of us since i gave the only essay draft to teacher for her personal observation. oh gosh. im dead. im dead. im dead.

some people've been accusing us, the teacher's day band judges for being "bias-ed" in choosing the bands. i dunno about the other judges but i judge based on these 3 main factors; song of choice, how well they presented it (top priority to vocals) and reaction from audiences inside the audition room. afterall, everyone get to perform in the end with special priority given to top 4 bands. they'll be some other 'jobs' given to the remaining 3 bands. the 4 bands chosen are sweet memory, wanah's band, rose on my coffin's door and the undergrounds. the remaining 3 bands aren't THAT bad. the average marks for all the bands were pretty close. it's just that they made their major weak points easily spot. but hey, being a judge isn't easy. i could end up being a psycho version of simon cowell or probably worse. judges on that day were boykumpal, combination of adib+zai, aimee, abob and yours truly, me + fizah.
