hey all. just returned from family outing at tudong saji. never was in my mind to stay and hangout there until aimee informed me they're (chikalo) performing tonite. pfffft. i think mel is also performing since she's not on msn right now. looks like i miss another chance meeting her. ayam and saee was also there and not to forget a last minute spot of the klip at sakinah stall. damnit. i wanna go back there ='(

so ... yesterday, went to st james' science exhibit with adib, izzat, mawi and abadi. yea i changed my mind haha it was alrite. we've done most of the experiments including the electronic mind reader. the known-juniors were on heavy duty. man, kinds grow up pretty fast nowadays haha may and nanad wasn't around. weird but i love st margarets. they got the hottest chicas in the house! woot!

there'll be a band thingy for smsa teacher's day celebration. i feel like playing but i dont think rafie and jul will be free since they'll be having a-mocks plus the upcomning a level is pretty close and of course, efra will be disallowed to join. oh well. i'll try my best to figure out the solution. lots of other interesting events such as dramas, dances, fire drill .... oh no fire drill. sorry. haha. and others.

last night was a blast! all sexpherix were there except for feefy, wira and much. bob penipu~ boooo~ hahaha both bands (glassheart rabbits and the klip) did very well. this is my best play ever! finally get to play the songs i've always wanted to play; letters to you, what it is to burn, blue and yellow, buried myself alive, helena, love song, cute without the e, im not okay and not to forget, the fucked up version of under pressure lol thousands of salutes to leech for singing 3 tracks with us. you got one hell of a screamo voice dude. major credits to jul for still being able to sing even though he's sick. also to auntie for letting us to use her place as the venue. for those who went inside during the klip's performance, you dont know what you guys just missed. these guys are one of the finest bands i ever witness. the wind started blowing massively after our final set. lots of trees fell down including the one nearby the islamic graveyard and panglima football field. such a worrying journey back home. empty house sebalah rumah si jul atu lagi ... subahanallah ... haha ...

we only got like more than a dozen audience or less but still we enjoyed ourselves. cant wait for the vid. i wanna see my kerasukan-self nyahaha.

oh what a tiring night. just returned from jubli park. such a pain in the ass waiting for our buddies' the klip's turn to play. they got put last on schedule but hey, they sure as hell put up a great show with their trademark number, take me out(franz ferdinand) and hot hot heat's you owe me an IOU. quite funny how the show host mispronounced the other band the klips instead of 'the real' the klips like what? 3 times in a row? lol

another great band was rampage, adi punk's band. they played search numbers plus one own song which was really awesome. fuad-daus-iss's band was also not bad with good charlotte songs. too bad they were asked to cut out the remaining one song due to the poor time management caused by all the stupid guests+extra performances in the middle of the event and yea, fuad gave a middle finger to the audience in the end \m/

teacher pol's band also played as the opening act with country music songs. quite enjoyable and wow! sir pol got a damn fender telecaster!

have you guys heard about the song called Gloomy Sunday? i came across an article about it earlier today on Arena Komik and did lots of reserach about it on the net immedately after returning from jamming session with Glassheart Rabbits (project band) at krol's place. i have to definitely agree about how depressive the song is which got it entitled as the 'hungarian suicide song'.

originally composed/written by Rezsô Seress in 1933 for a former girlfriend, who committed suicide shortly after the song's release with a piece of paper in her hand consisting the lyrics of Gloomy Sunday. lots of other similar-sensed suicide cases followed including the composer himself who killed himself in 1968. the song was then banned from major airwaves in Hungrary due to such strong, dark influence it had inflicted leading to the more than 300 officially reported suicide cases.

lot's of cover versions of the song had been recorded including the most popular english version by Billie Holiday. lyrics to the song are as follow ...

i heard the metalfest swiss hotel gig last saturday night got raid. 2 bands didn't managed to play; inchpin and h8. kinda sux to hear since those are two of the biggest-well-known underground band in brunei. i was a little dumbstrucked with why it got ambushed cause like they got legal permit for it and stuffs. then it turns out to be social error as the cause. tiger beers were everywhere. on the ground floor outside the venue. so we can learn something from there. don't just set up gigs. set up the rules too. no drugs. no alcohol. no fights. nothing. just pure music entertainment and that's all we need and yeah thousands of devil signs to malice my shadow for playing from autmn to ashes song \m/

oh yea, i wasnt there at the gig by the way. just got the info from some sources. i was attending my math tution class. boo-hoo~ =( but education is good. math is errrrrm fun? HAHA ... whatever ...

so anyway, did you guys watched the Live8 makepovertyhistory concert? man, what an awesome 9+ hours event that was. global venues (philly, japan, berlin, paris, london etc) performances by dozens of famous artists (mariah carey, b.e.p, duran duran, the who, ah-ha, snoop dogg, audioslave ect) and one best thing about it is definitely FREE ENTRANCE and FREE LIVE SHOW ON TV (which we normally have to subscribe on Astro) my favourites gotta have to be coldplay feat richard ashcroff (the verve) on bitterweet symphony, snoop dogg's, mariah carey (still damn hot) sting and the police, duran duran, ah-ha reunion, the who, PINK FLOYD \m/ what else? ok, lets just make it ALL. haha alang alang.
